Maharashtra DSE Engineering Admission 2026-27
Registration for Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry) Engineering (B.E./B.Tech.) Admission 2026-27 is now open under the Maharashtra Centralized Admission Process (CAP). Candidates can register online, upload documents, and complete verification before the deadlines below.

01 Admission Process
The entire procedure runs online. At this stage, candidates only need to register, upload documents, verify their application, and confirm the form. Option form filling, seat allotment, seat acceptance, and institute reporting will be announced separately by the Competent Authority.
- Complete the online registration.
- Upload all required documents.
- Choose E-Scrutiny or Physical Scrutiny for document verification.
- Confirm the online application form after verification succeeds.
02 Document Verification
E-Scrutiny Mode
Fully online verification — no visit to a Scrutiny Centre required. Documents uploaded by the candidate are checked electronically. Any discrepancy sends the application back through the candidate login for correction and resubmission.
Physical Scrutiny Mode
Candidates visit their selected Scrutiny Centre with original documents for in-person verification. Once confirmed, the centre issues an acknowledgement receipt.
03 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Must hold a minimum three-year Diploma or two-year Lateral Entry Diploma in Engineering and Technology, with:
- At least 45% marks for General Category candidates.
- At least 40% marks for Reserved Category, EWS, and PWD candidates from Maharashtra State.
- OR a B.Sc. degree with the prescribed percentage and Mathematics at HSC or equivalent.
- OR a three-year D.Voc. programme in the same or an allied sector.

- Applications not verified and confirmed via E-Scrutiny or Physical Scrutiny will be excluded from the merit list.
- Reserved category candidates must produce valid certificates and supporting documents during verification.
- Candidates who skip submitting reservation documents will be treated as General Category per admission rules.
- The schedule is provisional and may be revised by the Competent Authority.

DSE 2026 – Admission Process Steps
- Step 1: Fill out your personal, academic, and category information in the application form.
- Step 2: Upload all required documents (JPG, JPEG, or PDF format).
- Step 3: Wait for the first merit list and check your name and ranking.
- Step 4: If any mistake is there, you can raise a complaint (grievance).
- Step 5: Final merit list will be released after correction.
- Step 6: Choose your favorite colleges and branches (Choice Filling).
- Step 7: View your seat status and download allotment letter.
- Step 8: Pay the seat confirmation fee and upload the required documents.
- Step 9: If you want to try again, you can take part in the second round.
- Step 10: Once your seat is confirmed, go to the college, submit original documents, and pay fees.
